IFTTT (If This, Then That) Integration
IFTTT lets you create simple rules, called applets, to connect different apps and services.
Each applet works like this: when something happens (trigger), it causes another action (response).
For example:
If IFTTT sees a rain alert in your area, it can turn your Meshtek lights blue to remind you to take an umbrella.

After connecting, you can use the IFTTT app to control your Meshtek lights with triggers.
You can also try using the IFTTT app directly. Here's how:
1.Make an Account:
Go to the IFTTT website (ifttt.com) and sign up for a free account if you don't have one. Or, just log in to the IFTTT app if you already have an account.
2. Explore Applets:
In IFTTT, these automated tasks are called "Applets." They have two parts: a "Trigger" (when something happens) and an "Action" (then do this). Look at the existing Meshtek applets or search for ones for your devices. This will give you ideas.
3. Create a New Applet:
If you don't see an applet you like, you can create your own.
Tap your profile picture (usually at the top) and choose "Create."
Tap "+ This" to pick what starts the automation. Choose a service like Gmail, Twitter, or SmartThings
4. Choose the Trigger Event:-
If you don't see an applet you like, you can create your own.
Tap your profile picture (usually at the top) and choose "Create."
Tap "+ This" to pick what starts the automation. Choose a service like Gmail, Twitter, or SmartThings.
5. Connect and Authorize Services:
- Connect and authorize the services you want to use with IFTTT. This might involve signing in to your accounts and granting permission for IFTTT to access them.
6. Set Up Trigger Configuration:
- Depending on what you picked as the trigger, you'll need to add more information. If you picked Gmail, you might say it should trigger when you get an email from a specific person or with certain words.
7. Click on "+ That":
Now, you'll tell IFTTT what to do when the trigger happens
8. Choose the Action Service:
Choose the service where you want something to happen. For your lights, you'll choose "MeshTek."
9. Configure the Action:
Just like with the trigger, you'll set up the details for the action. You can choose what you want your lights to do when the trigger happens.
10. Activate the Applet:
Check everything you've set up to make sure it's right. If it looks good, turn the applet on
11. Test the Applet:
After turning it on, test it to see if it works. Do the thing that you set as the trigger and see if the action happens.
12. Explore More Applets:
- Keep looking at other applets and try different things to automate more of your tasks!"
