Pairing a 2 or 4 port nugget controller

If you have an existing BR Installer account, please sign in using your credentials. If you're new to our platform, you'll need to create an account. After a successful account creation, log in to your BR Installer account. From here, you can initiate the pairing of your Meshtek devices with the mobile app. On the main network page, or upon the creation of a new network, you might encounter a pop-up message stating: “Hey! We have detected unpaired Meshtek devices near you. Would you like to pair them now?” Here, users can simply tap the 'Pair' button.

1. However, if this notification doesn't appear, all you need to do is tap on the three lines located in the top left corner and then select "Add devices" or "Add Gateway."
2. If the prompt still doesn’t show up, you can manually reset the Strip. To do this, toggle the power ON and OFF five times. This sequence is designed to push the Device into pairing mode. You can now navigate to the pairing screen. You also have the choice to pair a device from the side menu, located in the top left corner.
3. From here, you should tap on the “Add Devices” option.

5. At this juncture, the Strip device icon should be visible on the pairing screen. Note that the color displayed on the screen matches the actual color of the strip device.

6. You can then drag and drop the device icon into the “Select group” section.

7.  On the next screen tap on the “+” icon and enter the name of the new group.
8. Now tap on ‘Create’.

9. On tapping ‘Create’ it will create the new group on the ‘Select Group’ screen.
10. Now tap on the ‘Add’ button.

11. On tapping the ‘Add’ button you will see the “Choose Strip Type” option
12. There will be different types of strip name available. Choose the right one by tapping on the strip name and you will be redirected to the next screen.

13. Upon selection, you'll be directed to the “Configure Channels” screen. This is particularly crucial for those with 4 or 2 channel controllers. Here, you can specify the length for each strip channel, either individually or directionally.

14. Now tap on (+) button, Next screen is the “Set Strip Length” screen where you can set the strip length and direction.
15. By default the length of the strip is set to ‘6’ Lights. 

16. Now set the strip length by tapping on (+) button.
17. You can also decrease the length by tapping on (-) button.
18. If you want to directly enter a number to specify strip length, tap the pencil icon and enter the strip length on the pop-up.

20. Your device is now paired and is ready to use. Tap the arrow in the top left corner of the screen to get back to your "Dashboard," where you will see your newly paired group/groups.

21. The strip icon is displayed according to the strip that you have chosen.
