(1) To update the firmware for your Meshtek devices, click on the three lines in the top left corner, click on "Features" and select "Firmware Updates". A notification will pop up, and you will need to click on "Next".

(2)You will be brought to the next page where you can see a list of the devices that need updating. Click on "Update" for the device you wish to update first. Get as close to the Meshtek device as possible for the update.

(3) The update will start loading, which take 2-3 minutes. Wait till the loading is done, and the update is completed. You will get a notification that the update was successful.
For the best chances of successfully updating the firmware, we recommend the following:
- Make sure you are using the latest app from iTunes or Google Play
- Update only ONE device at a time through the app, and turn OFF the power for any other Meshtek device that you may have on.
- Keep your phone plugged into a power source and nearby the Meshtek device you are updating
- Ensure you have a good connection to the internet from your device.
- Do not turn the power off the Meshtek device you are updating while the Firmware Update process is going on.
What do the flashing colors mean?
When your Meshtek device is receiving a firmware update, it will pulse a color for a few minutes, then finally power back on your default color. When your Meshtek device stops changing colors and remains at the default color, the firmware update has completed and it is safe to operate your Meshtek device normally.
How do I update my other Meshtek devices?
A Meshtek device that has the most recent firmware version can update your other Meshtek devices, simply by being within the Bluetooth signal range.
Once one of your Meshtek devices receives a firmware update, it will share it with any other nearby Meshtek devices that are paired to the same network. If your Meshtek devices are close by to each other, just power on all your devices, close the app, and let them update each other.
