Onboarding

• Download the BR installer app, create an account. The customer will download the Blueroots app and create an account.

• Click on the network button in the top right corner of the screen. Create a network named after the customer. Example : "Brian Murphy's House". After pairing everything in this network, you will share access to this network at the very end.
   
• You will need to add a payment option but will not get charged for any lengths under 150 feet. Pair the 2 channel nugget controller in the app. Tap on the three lines located in the top left corner and then select "Add devices" . If your device is unpaired it should show up. Now, you can drag the 2 channel nugget controller symbol into the “New Group”, name your group. You will select “Meshtek Nugget” as the strip type, set the length, and that will complete the pairing process. 

 

Controls

• You can control the entire network, group by group, or individual lights. You can always turn the lights on and off using the toggles next to each group/individual light or using the “All Off” and “All On” buttons at the bottom of the screen.

• Select the network, group or individual light, and click on the menu button in the top left of the screen and select “Controls”. You’ll see Colors, Whites, Effects, Static presets, RGBW Sliders and Schedules. These are all the other different ways to control your lights.

 

Setting up a Gateway  : 

Resetting a controller or a gateway :

Type 1  (Click on reset button 10 times): Strips - Meshtek Nugget , bistro lights, C9 lights, One channel controllers, etc.

• There will be a reset button on the side of the controller. Click on it 10 times and the controller will be put in pairing mode. 

Type 2 (Hold down reset button for 10 seconds): Astrotimes and smartplugs.

• There will be a reset button on the side of the astrotimer or smartplug. Hold it down for 10 seconds and the controller will be put in pairing mode. 

Type 3 ( Click on reset button 5 times): Gateway.

• If you are facing the back of the gateway, where the power plug goes in, the reset button is on the far left. Click on the reset button 5 times, and it will be put in pairing mode.
