The Check Connection strength tool is used when trying to figure out if a repeater is needed to improve connection for the lights. Use this tool to figure out where to place your lights or where to place a repeater to fix this connection when you are installing MR16's and are not getting great connection, or some lights are not responding, or responding slowly.
Use the "Check Connection strength" option in the installer tools. Click on the 3 lines in the top left corner of the app, click on "Settings", scroll down to "Installer Tools". Select "Check Connection strength" near the bottom of the list. Stand next to one of the MR16's and use the "Check Connection strength" option when you are on site. Any RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) values in the High -80's to -90's is a bad signal. Go from one MR16 to the next while checking the signal strength. You can add a repeater in the middle where the strength is the weakest. Check the connection strength as you are moving the repeater. Add more repeaters wherever necessary.
